Our sponsorship of and involvement with Hands On Atlanta is a large part of our commitment to giving back to the community.  Hands On Atlanta is a non-profit organization that helps individuals, families and corporate and community groups find flexible volunteer opportunities with more than 400 service organizations and schools.  

Since 1999, Empire has enjoyed a Corporate Partnership with Hands On Atlanta.  More than 100 Empire employees volunteer for biannual community service projects and work with a variety of agencies throughout metro Atlanta including CHRIS Homes, Chattahoochee River Keeper, Camp Sunshine and Teens At Work.  Empire is also a key sponsor of Hands On Atlanta’s annual fundraiser, A Taste for Volunteering. 

Empire is also proud to support other non-profit organizations throughout North Carolina and Georgia.  Some of these include:

• Share Our Strength (SOS), an industry event to feed the hungry.
• Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, a local children's hospital.
• Make A Wish Foundation, grants wishes for terminally ill children.

• Shepherd Spinal Center, a spinal cord injury healthcare facility
