A. We are not able to sell directly to the consumer. If you have a liquor license in one of the states that we service, please call your local Empire office to place your order. If you are a consumer looking for a specific product, let us know what you are looking for and we will try to find a retailer in your area who can assist you.
Q. How can I place an order?
A. First, get in touch with your Empire sales representative or you local Empire office to set up a meeting with your representative. Your sales rep can introduce you to our portfolio and services, as well as explain various ordering options.
Q. How do I get a license to sell/serve alcohol?
A. Contact your state's Department of Revenue or Control Board for more information. In Georgia, the Department of Revenue's web site is http://www.etax.dor.ga.gov/alcohol/index.shtml.
Q. How do I schedule a promotion at my business?
A. Ask your sales representative! We love to promote our products and our customers. We'll help you plan the perfect promotion.
Q. Where is my order?
A. Many different factors may affect shipping. Know your delivery days. Not all areas are serviced every day. Also, give your sales representative a generous window for deliveries. Due to the volume of deliveries each day, delivery times may vary from week to week. If your order does not arrive on your delivery day, call your sales rep or Empire office immediately.
Q. When is your cut-off time for orders?
A. Cut-off times vary by branches and divisions. Ask your sales representative for your cut-off time.
Q. Where can I buy a wine that I tasted in a restaurant?
A. Check our brand portfolio to see if we distribute the wine in your area. Your local wine retailer should be able to order it for you. If not, contact your local Empire office for assistance.
Q. What is my delivery day?
A. Ask your sales representative for your delivery day.
Q. How do I get discounts?
A. Discounts are determined by well programs and monthly deals. Your sales representative can explain which discounts you may be eligible for.
Q. How do I get service on a keg that is leaking?
A. Call your sales representative immediately. They will schedule a draft technician to correct the problem.
Q. Can I get my order today?
A. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide same day service. Our deliveries are scheduled and loaded the previous night, therefore preventing add-ons. If you have a problem, call your sales representative to discuss possible alternatives.
Q. What areas do you service?
A. Empire Distributors, Inc. and Empire Distributors, Inc. of North Carolina serves 100% of Georgia and North Carolina. However, some products may not be available in all areas. Check our brand portfolio for more detailed information or contact your local Empire office.
Q. Can I come to your warehouse to pick up my order?
A. Government regulations prohibit us from selling from our warehouse.
Q. What happens if my check doesn't clear?
A. If a check is returned for any reason, a hold is placed on your Empire account. Your account will remain on no-buy status until the monies are accounted for. Your sales representative can explain the procedures specific to your Empire branch.
Q. How do I get in touch with my sales representative?
A. All of our sales representatives are equipped with pagers and/or voicemail. However, should you misplace the number or do not receive a timely response, contact your local Empire office or e-mail us.
Q. Can you help me train my staff about wines, spirits, and beers?
A. Product training is an essential part of the sales process. Our sales staff can conduct staff educations, tastings, and provide you with educational materials to teach your staff about the products they are selling. In addition, our resources section of our website make great hand outs for your staff. Let your representative know how we can help you.

A. Some of our products are available for you to sample. Let your sales representative know what products you are interested in.
Q. How can I get a Beverage Journal?
A. The Beverage Journal is a great resource for distributor and product information. Unfortunately, we only receive a certain amount each month. However, their web site offers much of the same information.
Q. Can I get a product and price list?
A. Your sales representative can help you with this information. Since prices and availability may differ between locations, it is not possible for us to offer a single price/product list for all locations. Also, our brand portfolio offers a generic listing of brands by state.
Q. How do I set up an account?
A. Call your local Empire office to set up an account and arrange a meeting with an Empire sales representative to discuss Empire's portfolio and services. Before your account can be activated, we must receive a copy of your state liquor license.
